Dear reader,
Have you ever had one of those evenings where you just want to relax and watch a movie?
Well, it's been a while I've allowed myself this 'waste of time' and I'm not sure I landed on the proper movie. I looked up 'best sappy movies' and got this website: http://www.movie-moron.com/?p=20914&page=4
I watched Larry Crowne and The Perks of Being a Wallflower. Larry Crowne was cute and slightly inspiring even though it was a little sad. I guess it speaks of the times that these days there are less opportunities than we think and so the idea of 'living the American dream' isn't always a question of settling in the States and building a multi-million dollar empire. I guess it really comes down to just starting small and building from there. It's an encouraging thought and yet a little saddening that opportunities aren't as plentiful as we thought.
The Perks of Being a Wallflower: what a crazy film. I feel like every so often a filmmaker will decide to make a movie about the craziness of adolescent life. I don't recall my adolescent life being so crazy and involving so many horrible events. I guess it's possible but it only scares me that reality for most people is so difficult to life through. My brother told me something so true today: The Lord doesn't face us with difficulties greater than that we are able to face. We just have to have faith...
Wishing you a great day! :)
